WAVE Productions
As Artistic Director of WAVE Productions, a student-led production company, I mentored directors throughout the mainstage season, guiding them from proposal through closing while fostering rehearsal rooms grounded in collaboration and clarity. WAVE operates as a non-hierarchical, consensus-based board, and working within that structure deeply shaped my leadership style. It reinforced the importance of ensuring every voice in the room feels heard and valued, and taught me that strong artistic leadership is rooted not in authority, but in active listening, transparency, and shared investment.
WAVE prioritizes keeping an “ear to the ground” within the community so artists feel empowered to tell stories that are urgent, personal, and resonant. In my leadership, I worked to balance artistic ambition with sustainable production practices, helping teams navigate logistics, communication, and creative problem-solving.
Across my time with WAVE, I collaborated with student artists to produce independent projects beyond the mainstage season, expanding opportunities for experimental and boundary-stretching work. As Special Events Coordinator, I developed programming that strengthened community engagement and welcomed new members into the organization, cultivating a culture of curiosity, mentorship, and artistic ownership.

In my front-of-house and audience services work, I have overseen theatre operations across venues ranging from large proscenium houses to intimate black box spaces. I manage ticketing and patron services using systems including AudienceView, ArtsPeople, and HotTix, handling sales, troubleshooting, and problem resolution with a focus on clarity and care. This work has deepened my understanding of the audience experience from arrival to curtain call and reinforced my belief that hospitality, accessibility, and thoughtful communication are essential components of meaningful theatre-making.
